Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to manage our procurement processes. You will source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and buy high-quality goods at competitive prices. Your ultimate goal is to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:-
Source suppliers: Identify and evaluate potential vendors for quality and cost.
Negotiate contracts: Secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Process orders: Generate, track, and manage purchase orders through completion.
Manage inventory: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
Review quality: Inspect delivered goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain records: Keep accurate files of invoices, contracts, and supplier performance.
Resolve disputes: Handle delivery delays, damaged items, and billing discrepancies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement role.
