Key ResponsibilitiesCost Control & Analysis
- Monitor daily food and beverage costs and prepare cost reports.
- Analyze variances between actual and standard food costs.
- Conduct menu and recipe costing to ensure profitability.
- Track wastage, spoilage, and pilferage and recommend corrective actions.
Inventory Management
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Monitor stock movement and ensure proper inventory levels.
- Verify receiving, issuing, and transfer of materials.
Purchasing & Receiving
- Review purchase orders and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Verify supplier invoices and pricing.
- Coordinate with purchasing and stores teams to maintain cost efficiency.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly F&B cost reports.
- Generate inventory valuation reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide management with insights on cost-saving opportunities.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation of stock transactions.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and company standards.
