JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research current fashion trends, silhouettes, fabrics, colours, prints, and market trends.
- Develop new styles and collections for women’s western wear.
- Create design concepts, mood boards, colour stories, and range plans.
- Work on prints, placements, colour combinations, and garment detailing.
- Coordinate with pattern makers, sampling, production, and printing teams.
- Review samples and provide fitting, construction, and design corrections.
- Ensure final garments match the approved design, colour, print, fabric, and measurements.
- Work on multiple designs and meet collection and production deadlines.
- Maintain proper records of designs, samples, fabrics, swatches, and approvals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in women’s western wear.
- Good knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, prints, trims, and finishing.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends and commercial design.
- Ability to create technical drawings and design presentations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple styles simultaneously.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience in women’s western wear and fashion manufacturing.
- Good understanding of colour matching, print development, and fabric selection.
- Strong attention to detail and a commercial approach to design.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
