Job Summary
The Special Educator will work with children with developmental, learning, and behavioural challenges by designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs). The role focuses on enhancing academic, social, and functional skills through structured interventions and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities1. Assessment & Individualized Planning
- Conduct educational assessments to identify learning needs and developmental delays
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on each child’s strengths and challenges
- Set measurable goals and track student progress
2. Therapeutic & Educational Intervention
- Provide one-on-one and small group sessions for children with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia)
- Intellectual Disabilities
- Use evidence-based teaching strategies and remedial techniques
- Focus on academic readiness, cognitive skills, and functional learning
3. Classroom Support & School Readiness
- Support children in developing school readiness skills such as attention, sitting tolerance, and following instructions
- Work on communication, social interaction, and behavioral management
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods based on individual needs
4. Parent & Caregiver Training
- Provide regular feedback and counselling to parents regarding child progress
- Design home-based intervention plans and strategies
- Conduct parent training sessions and workshops
5. Collaboration
- Work closely with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other professionals
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and IEP documentation
- Ensure compliance with organizational and clinical documentation standards
7. Program Development
- Contribute to early intervention programs and group sessions
- Conduct awareness programs, workshops, and training for parents and schools
Qualifications (Mandatory)
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Special Education
- RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) Registration – Mandatory
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience working with children with special needs
- Freshers with valid RCI certification and strong internship experience may be considered

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
