Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in diesel engine repair, troubleshooting, overhaul, and maintenance.
The ideal candidate must be capable of independently diagnosing faults, carrying out engine repairs, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, heavy vehicles, construction equipment, and diesel-powered machinery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair diesel engine faults.
- Perform complete engine overhauls and rebuilds.
- Troubleshoot fuel, lubrication, cooling, and air intake systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Repair and replace engine components including pistons, liners, bearings, cylinder heads, valves, injectors, and pumps.
- Attend breakdowns and perform field repairs when required.
- Maintain service reports and job documentation.
- Follow safety and quality procedures at all times.
Requirements :
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on Diesel Mechanic experience.
- Experience with diesel engines used in heavy vehicles, trucks, construction equipment, generators, or industrial machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle breakdown situations.
- ITI / Diploma in relevant trade preferred.
- Valid passport preferred.
