We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Manager who can independently manage and strengthen the complete HR function and contribute to building a structured, performance-driven and employee-friendly work culture.
Role Overview
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, employee lifecycle management, statutory compliance, employee engagement, HR documentation, performance management, grievance handling, HR policies, KPIs, SOPs and overall employee relations.
The ideal candidate should be a hands-on HR professional who can work independently, establish proper HR systems and processes, and effectively support a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from manpower planning to onboarding.
- Understand hiring requirements from different departments and prepare/update JDs.
- Source, screen and shortlist candidates through appropriate recruitment channels.
- Conduct HR interviews and coordinate technical/management interviews.
- Manage offer negotiation, documentation and joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and monitor hiring KPIs.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future requirements.
2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage complete employee lifecycle activities from joining to exit.
- Ensure proper onboarding, induction and documentation of employees.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records and HR databases.
- Manage attendance, leave, employee files and HR-related documentation.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure timely submission of relevant employee information.
- Conduct exit formalities, exit interviews and full & final coordination.
3. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor statutory requirements related to PF, ESI, Professional Tax, gratuity, bonus, minimum wages, leave and other applicable labour compliances.
- Maintain statutory records and documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants/accounting teams wherever required.
- Monitor changes in applicable labour laws and ensure timely implementation.
4. HR Policies & SOPs
- Develop, implement and periodically review HR policies and procedures.
- Establish clear SOPs for key HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave, performance management, disciplinary action, grievance handling and exit.
- Ensure employees understand and follow applicable policies.
- Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of HR policies and SOPs.
5. Performance Management & KPIs
- Establish and monitor employee KPIs and KRAs in coordination with department heads.
- Coordinate periodic performance reviews and appraisal processes.
- Support managers in setting measurable performance objectives.
- Track employee performance and identify performance gaps.
- Develop performance improvement plans wherever required.
- Prepare HR dashboards and reports covering key people metrics.
6. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and activities.
- Build a positive, collaborative and performance-oriented workplace culture.
- Conduct employee feedback sessions and engagement surveys.
- Identify employee concerns and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Support employee recognition and appreciation initiatives.
- Promote effective communication between employees and management.
7. Grievance & Employee Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and workplace concerns.
- Handle employee complaints professionally, confidentially and fairly.
- Investigate workplace issues and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
- Manage disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Maintain proper documentation of grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Promote healthy employee-management relationships.
8. HR Documentation & Records
- Maintain complete and confidential employee documentation.
- Ensure proper management of appointment letters, offer letters, agreements, employee records and other HR documents.
- Maintain HR trackers, registers and databases.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, updated and audit-ready.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
9. HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare regular HR reports for management.
- Track key HR metrics including:
- Headcount & Attrition
- Time to Hire
- Cost per Hire
- Offer Acceptance & Joining Ratio
- Employee Attendance
- Employee Turnover
- Employee Engagement
- Performance Review Completion
- Training & Development
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to management.
10. Training & Development
- Identify training and development requirements in consultation with department heads.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Support employee development and career progression initiatives.
11. Management Support
- Act as a bridge between management and employees.
- Provide HR-related recommendations to management on employee matters.
- Support organizational restructuring, manpower planning and other people-related initiatives.
- Assist management in creating a professional and scalable HR framework as the organization grows.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR operations.
- Good understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of HR documentation, policies and SOP development.
- Ability to establish and monitor KPIs and KRAs.
- Strong employee engagement and grievance-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Educational Qualification
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, MSW-HR, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a startup, technology, fintech, retail, sales-driven or fast-growing organization.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should be someone who can build HR systems, not just manage HR paperwork. The person should be comfortable taking ownership of the complete HR function, identifying gaps, implementing structured processes and working closely with management and employees.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
