- Identify and evaluate potential vendors via market research, capability assessments, and audits to align with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships, including negotiations, performance monitoring, and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Plan material procurement, track orders, and ensure timely delivery per production schedules.
- Conduct vendor audits, ensure compliance with standards, and implement process improvements for cost and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, quality) to resolve supply chain issues and handle customer complaints related to vendor
