Academic Responsibilities
Teach Computer Science for senior secondary and otherclasses.Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, worksheets, and digital learning materials.Conduct engaging theory and practical lab sessions.Teach programming languages such as Python, SQL, HTML, and basic networking concepts.Guide students in project work, practical exams, coding activities, and assignments.Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and competitive technology events.Assessment & EvaluationConduct periodic tests, practical assessments, and examinations.Evaluate answer scripts, assignments, and projects.Maintain student progress records and report cards.Provide remedial coaching and academic support to weak students. +2Laboratory ManagementMaintain discipline and safety in the computer laboratory.Ensure proper functioning of computer systems, software, internet, and peripherals.Coordinate with IT staff for maintenance and updates.Monitor proper usage of school technology resources.Student DevelopmentEncourage innovation, coding skills, and creativity among students.Mentor students for Olympiads, hackathons, exhibitions, and technology fairs.Provide career guidance related to engineering, IT, AI, data science, and related fields.Administrative DutiesAttend staff meetings, PTMs, workshops, and training programs.Maintain attendance and academic documentation.Support school events, examinations, and extracurricular activities.Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and CBSE norms.
Required Qualifications
M.Sc Computer Science / MCA / M.Tech / B.Tech in Computer Science or related field.B.Ed. degree from a recognized university.Minimum 2–5 years teaching experience in CBSE senior secondary classes preferred.
