About the Role
We are looking for a confident and customer-focused Jewellery Sales Consultant to join its retail sales team. The role involves engaging with customers, understanding their jewellery preferences and budgets, educating them about lab-grown diamonds, and guiding them through the complete purchase journey.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and customer-handling skills, a target-oriented mindset, and preferably experience in jewellery, diamonds, gemstones.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage walk-in customers at the retail store.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences, budget, and purchase intent.
- Recommend suitable jewellery collections based on customer needs.
- Explain products, designs, pricing, quality, certifications, and the benefits of lab-grown diamonds.
- Handle customer queries, objections, and concerns professionally.
- Drive sales conversions and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Maintain regular communication and follow up with prospective customers.
- Coordinate with the retail/store team for customer appointments and follow-ups.
- Build strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
- Provide a seamless customer experience from initial enquiry through purchase.
- Share product catalogues, videos, references, and pricing information as required.
- Occasionally accompany jewellery for private client viewings or consultations at customer locations.
- Ensure professional presentation and secure handling of jewellery during off-site client visits.
Requirements
- Graduate or HSC with relevant experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in jewellery sales.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Regional language proficiency will be an added advantage.
- Strong customer handling, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Good understanding of diamonds, gemstones, or jewellery preferred.
- Confident, energetic, well-groomed, and target-oriented personality.
- Strong follow-up and conversion skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
