Job Summary
The UX Designer is responsible for transforming complex business requirements into intuitive, scalable, and user-centered experiences. Working closely with Product Analysts, Product Owners, and Engineering, this role will lead UX efforts across enterprise software workflows while advocating for usability, accessibility, and design excellence.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who seeks to understand the “why” behind requirements, simplifies complex data-dense workflows, and creates solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. This individual will contribute to our design system, hands-on design, and help drive the adoption of modern UX practices, including AI-powered product experiences and AI-enabled design workflows.
Essential Functions
- Create user flows, information architecture, and high-fidelity designs for enterprise software applications.
- Collaborate with Product Analysts, Product Owners, customers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define user problems.
- Translate complex workflows and large amounts of information into simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Design solutions that align with established UX patterns, accessibility standards, and design system guidelines.
- Contribute to and maintain scalable design systems using reusable components, variables, and design tokens.
- Design AI-powered experiences that help users remain informed, confident, and in control.
- Utilize AI tools to improve research, ideation, prototyping, documentation, and overall design efficiency.
- Produce detailed design specifications and developer-ready handoff documentation.
- Partner closely with Engineering to ensure design quality throughout implementation.
- Advocate for user-centered design across the organization.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve product usability, design processes, and customer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX/Product Design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a user-centered design process and measurable outcomes.
- Experience designing complex B2B, enterprise, or workflow-driven applications.
- Strong information architecture, interaction design, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience simplifying data-dense interfaces and complex user workflows.
- Expert proficiency in Figma including Auto Layout, Variables, Components, Prototyping, and Dev Mode.
- Experience contributing to design systems and component libraries.
- Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Self-starter with strong initiative, ownership, and accountability.
- Understanding of AI-powered product experiences and modern AI-assisted design workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Manufacturing, Aerospace, Defense, MES, ERP, PLM, or Supply Chain software.
- Experience designing AI-assisted workflows or enterprise AI features.
- Familiarity with design tokens, front-end development concepts, and design-to-code workflows.
- Experience conducting usability testing and leveraging product analytics to inform design decisions.
