Job Summary
We are looking for a Connectivity Test Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth testing on Android devices, IoT products, or connectivity chipsets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating wireless connectivity features, executing functional and performance testing, identifying defects, and ensuring high product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, stability, compatibility, and performance testing for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features.
- Validate wireless connectivity on Android devices, embedded systems, and IoT products.
- Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed logs.
- Debug connectivity issues using ADB, Logcat, Bug Reports, and packet capture tools.
- Perform interoperability testing across different devices and wireless access points.
- Work closely with development teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve issues.
- Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and defect tracking.
- Ensure product quality through regression and release validation.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth testing.
- Experience testing Android devices, IoT products, or connectivity chipsets.
- Good understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
- Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and Bluetooth profiles.
- Experience using:
- ADB
- Logcat
- Android Bug Reports
- Wireshark
- Packet Sniffers
- Strong understanding of:
- SDLC
- STLC
- Bug Life Cycle
- Smoke Testing
- Sanity Testing
- Regression Testing
- Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Android OEMs or connectivity chipset vendors (Qualcomm, MediaTek, Broadcom, etc.).
- Exposure to GPS and NFC testing.
- Basic scripting knowledge is an added advantage.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Must be Btech(EEE/ECE/CSE) graduate
- Preferring Immediate joiner or someone who can join within a week.
