Key Responsibilities
- Payroll & Benefits: Coordinate with the finance team to process monthly payroll, manage statutory deductions, and administer employee benefits (insurance, leave encashment, etc.)
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding of new hires (document collection, orientation, system setup) and oversee a smooth offboarding process.
- HRIS & Data Management: Maintain up-to-date and highly confidential employee records in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Generate reports and analyze workforce metrics.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and national labor laws and internal company policies. Assist in internal HR audits. [1, 2, 3]
- Attendance & Leave: Manage timesheets, track attendance, and process leave requests.
- Employee Support & Queries: Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, assisting with grievance redressal and conflict resolution.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas to automate or optimize standard HR workflows to improve the overall employee experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Proven professional experience in HR operations, administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of local HR practices, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency with HRIS/HRMS platforms (e.g., Workday, Keka, etc.) and MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills are highly preferred).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- High degree of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
