Role Summary
The Store In-Charge is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of the store, including board game inventory, kitchen coordination, stock management, staff supervision, and customer experience. The role ensures that both the gaming and café areas operate efficiently and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Store Operations
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Handle operational issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers as required.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and ready for customers.
2. Board Game Inventory Oversight
- Oversee board game inventory management carried out by the Game Masters.
- Ensure regular game component checks are completed as per schedule.
- Verify that games are complete, clean, organized, and ready for customer use.
- Review and track reports of missing or damaged components.
- Coordinate replacement or repair of missing game pieces when required.
- Ensure inventory records are maintained accurately and updated regularly.
3. Kitchen Inventory Oversight
- Oversee kitchen inventory management carried out by the kitchen team.
- Ensure regular stock checks of ingredients, disposables, and supplies are completed.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent shortages.
- Review inventory records and stock reports for accuracy.
- Monitor stock usage and support measures to reduce wastage.
- Ensure kitchen storage areas are organized and hygiene standards are being followed.
4. Staff Attendance & Team Coordination
- Record and monitor attendance of all store and kitchen staff.
- Track punctuality, shift adherence, and daily responsibilities.
- Support team members in completing assigned tasks.
- Escalate attendance, discipline, or performance concerns when required.
5. Customer Experience
- Ensure customers receive excellent service and support.
- Address customer concerns and operational issues promptly.
- Maintain a welcoming and customer-friendly environment.
- Support the team in delivering a positive gaming and café experience.
6. Game Hosting Support
- Learn and understand key board games available in the store.
- Assist customers with game selection, setup, and basic game explanations.
- Step in to support game hosting during busy hours, events, or staff shortages.
7. Events & Community Activities
- Support planning and execution of game nights, tournaments, and special events.
- Coordinate event setup, logistics, and staff requirements.
- Assist in promoting events and increasing customer engagement.
- Support corporate bookings, team-building events, and private group activities.
8. Marketing
- Google reviews
- Push food sales
- Customer feedback
- Push events, community formation, offers etc
Skills Required
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Good communication and team coordination abilities.
- Basic computer and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and solve problems efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
- Interest in board games and café operations is an advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in store operations, inventory management, retail, hospitality, or food service.
- Experience handling stock and coordinating teams is preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
