We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative Wedding and Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of weddings and other special events. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, problem-solver, and multitasker who can coordinate with clients, vendors, and event staff to create seamless, memorable experiences for all attendees.
The Wedding and Event Manager will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of an event, from initial client consultation through to post-event follow-up. This role requires a passion for event planning, excellent project management skills, and a strong ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation & Event Planning:
- Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for weddings and events.
- Provide expert guidance on event logistics, themes, décor, timelines, and vendor recommendations.
- Develop detailed event proposals, contracts, and timelines tailored to each client's needs. Vendor Coordination:
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., caterers, florists, photographers, entertainers, etc.).
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure all services are delivered according to client specifications and on time.
- Oversee vendor contracts and payments. Event Design & Setup:
- Assist in the conceptualization and design of event themes, décor, and layouts.
- Ensure all event décor, equipment, and supplies are arranged and set up according to the plan.
- Manage the physical setup of the venue, ensuring all logistics run smoothly. Event Coordination & Execution:
- Supervise the event on the day, ensuring the schedule runs as planned and resolving any issues that arise.
- Direct staff, vendors, and volunteers to ensure efficient operations during the event.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and staff during the event.
- Oversee the flow of the event, including handling timelines, announcements, and transitions between different stages (e.g., ceremony, reception). Post-Event Follow-up:
- Ensure that all post-event activities, such as vendor payments, thank-you notes, and client feedback, are completed in a timely manner.
- Evaluate event success and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
