JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing thought-leadership in setting up and execution of Quality Engineering as a Center of Excellence in the enterprise and drive the Quality assurance KPIs, reduced cost factor and goals for all Digital/technology software solutions to optimize business operations improved customer experience. Lead the overall practice with Industry best processes, tools, methodologies governance for ensuring qualitative outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Owning Digital testing services CoE with full stack testing needs e.g. functional and non-functional (Web, Mobile, API, etc.).
Setup Digital Testing Automation practice and operational delivery with people, tools processes
Create and implement best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve technology to boost business performance
Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market and in a sustained manner
Using automation reduced cost and speed-to-market with improved accuracy / reliability.
Prepare the annual Quality budget and forecasts and all Capital / OPEX Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects
Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the quality strategy
On-boarding of testing resources basis comprehensive evaluation
Define Testing Strategy covering environments, test data management, reporting, selection of tools quality gates
Define, measure Improve Testing related KPIs for functional (SIT, regression, and Sanity testing) and non-functional testing (Performance, stress, soak).
Define methods for defect lifecycle management analyzing for predictability
Work closely with Digital Technology owners horizontal teams for business goals, KPIs, roadmap, improvement plan and progress.
Continuously innovate in Testing domain with new tools methodologies e.g. Shift Left, regression automation, remove redundancy, etc.
Mange relationships with all key stakeholders in Product Management IT
Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team
Mentor the testing community on processes, knowledge management and skill development.
Ensure comprehensive test automation coverage engagement model

Key competencies/skills required
Overall 15-20 years of experience in QA domain.
Experience of setting up agentic testing practice in CoE
At least 6 years of hands-on experience as an automation leader with CoE expertise.
At least 5 years of experience in a test lead role, leading QA for multiple/complex projects
At least 4 years of experience in creating Test Strategy and its execution
Well versed with testing approaches like TDD, BDD, End to End testing, WhiteBox, BlackBox testing, V model
Experienced on tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Katalon, QTP, Appium, Postman, Browserstack, JIRA
Experience of operating in both agile and waterfall development methodologies
Experienced in leveraging DevOps for continuous testing
Well versed with Industry trends of delivering modern QA practice
