About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior IT Application Support Analyst with hands-on experience in .NET Core, Angular, Azure DevOps, and Application Support. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting enterprise applications, resolving production issues, maintaining application stability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and operations.
This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining software development expertise with production support in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 production and application support for enterprise applications built on .NET Core and Angular.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents, defects, and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular.
- Support backend services and APIs developed using .NET Core/.NET Framework.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to improve application stability.
- Build, configure, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Manage deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Business teams to ensure smooth application operations.
- Manage source code using Git and follow branching and version control best practices.
- Support application upgrades, enhancements, patches, and production releases.
- Monitor application performance and ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint planning, defect resolution, and production support activities.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Software Development.
- Strong experience with .NET Core/.NET Framework.
- Hands-on experience with Angular (latest versions).
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, build and release management, deployment automation, and environment configuration.
- Experience with Git and version control best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and database troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with application monitoring and logging tools.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and incident management.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment.
