Job Summary
Crop Mentor Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an energetic and knowledgeable Field Agronomist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for visiting farmers, providing crop-related technical guidance, promoting agricultural products, developing farmer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit farmers, dealers, retailers and agricultural fields regularly.
- Provide technical guidance on crop nutrition, crop protection and farm management.
- Identify crop diseases, pest problems and nutrient deficiencies and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Conduct field demonstrations and product trials.
- Promote and demonstrate the company's agricultural products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers and channel partners.
- Generate new leads and convert them into customers.
- Achieve monthly sales and collection targets.
- Collect market feedback, competitor information and farmer requirements.
- Maintain daily field visit and sales reports.
- Coordinate with the sales and technical team for farmer support.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Eligibility
- B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Sc. Agronomy / M.Sc. Agriculture or related qualification.
- Freshers can apply.
- 0–3 years of experience in agronomy, agri-inputs, field sales or a related field will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of crops, fertilizers, pesticides, plant nutrition and crop protection.
- Good communication and farmer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively in rural and agricultural areas.
- Must have a two-wheeler and valid driving licence.
- Sales-oriented and target-driven approach.
