JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Facility Manager (Smart Housekeeping Services)
Location: NAMO Hospital, Silvassa
Reporting To: Project Manager / Hospital Administration
Employment Type: Full-Time
Purpose of the Position
To supervise and coordinate day-to-day housekeeping operations within the hospital premises and ensure availability of manpower, cleanliness standards, attendance management, consumable control, and timely reporting as per contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manpower Management:
- Maintain daily attendance records of deployed housekeeping personnel.
- Prepare and monitor duty rosters and shift deployment.
- Ensure adequate manpower availability in all shifts.
- Arrange immediate replacements in case of absenteeism.
- Monitor discipline, grooming, and conduct of deployed personnel.
2. Housekeeping Supervision:
- Conduct routine inspections of wards, OPDs, offices, corridors, toilets, common areas, and external premises.
- Ensure prescribed cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Monitor housekeeping activities and rectify deficiencies promptly.
- Maintain inspection records and cleanliness checklists.
3. Consumable Management:
- Monitor stock levels of housekeeping consumables and cleaning materials.
- Maintain issue and consumption records.
- Raise timely indents for replenishment of consumables.
- Prevent wastage and ensure proper utilization of materials.
4. Complaint Management:
- Attend complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff for prompt resolution.
- Maintain complaint registers and closure reports.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Maintain attendance records, deployment sheets, inspection reports, and stock registers.
- Submit MIS reports to management as required.
- Assist during inspections, audits, and review meetings.
6. Training and Compliance:
- Assist in induction and on-the-job training of housekeeping staff.
- Ensure use of uniforms, PPE, and safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and infection control practices.
Desired Qualifications
Essential:
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Basic computer knowledge with proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Preferred:
- Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management, Housekeeping, Hospital Administration, or Facility Management.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, facility services, hospital support services, hospitality operations, or institutional housekeeping.
- Experience in handling manpower deployment and attendance management will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Good communication skills in Hindi and Gujarati.
- Ability to supervise large teams.
- Basic reporting and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of housekeeping materials and consumables.
- Problem-solving and coordination abilities.
Compensation
CTC: Up to ₹4.50 lakh per annum (based on qualification and experience).
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
