1️ Medical Equipment Management
- Install, test, and commission medical equipment.
- Maintain equipment such as monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, X-ray machines, etc.
- Ensure devices are working accurately and safely.
2️ Preventive Maintenance
- Perform regular inspection and calibration of medical devices.
- Schedule preventive maintenance to avoid sudden equipment failure.
- Maintain maintenance records for all machines.
3️ Troubleshooting and Repair
- Diagnose technical problems in medical equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components.
- Coordinate with vendors or manufacturers if advanced repair is needed.
4️ Safety and Compliance
- Ensure equipment follows hospital safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct electrical safety testing of devices.
- Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory checks.
5️ Equipment Procurement Support
- Assist hospital management in selecting and purchasing new medical equipment.
- Evaluate specifications, cost, and suitability.
- Help in installation and training after purchase.
6️ Training Hospital Staff
- Train doctors, nurses, and technicians on proper use of medical equipment.
- Explain safety precautions and operating procedures.
7️ Inventory and Asset Management
- Maintain a database of all hospital equipment.
- Track warranty, service contracts (AMC/CMC), and spare parts.
8️ Technology Upgradation
- Recommend new medical technologies to improve patient care.
- Plan upgrades or replacement of outdated equipment.
