Naps Sofa is a growing sofa and furniture manufacturing company. We are looking for an energetic and hands-on HR Executive / HR Generalist to oversee day-to-day HR operations, workforce management, and factory compliance for our manufacturing facility of 50+ employees.
Our factory utilizes modern machinery, including CNC machines and membrane press machines, for cutting, framing, and foaming processes. The ideal candidate will have experience managing shop-floor workers, skilled machinery technicians, and office staff.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Workforce Management
- Source, interview, and recruit both skilled workers (CNC operators, membrane press operators, frame makers, carpenters, upholsterers, foam cutters) and administrative staff.
- Manage manpower planning based on production targets and seasonal demand.
2. Time Office & Payroll Operations
- Monitor daily attendance, shift timings, overtime (OT), leave management, and biometric records for 50+ employees.
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs, allowances, and attendance data for timely wage disbursement.
3. Floor Discipline & Employee Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for factory floor workers and address grievances promptly.
- Maintain workplace discipline, handle conflict resolution, and foster a healthy work environment.
- Conduct onboarding, orientation, and exit interviews.
4. Safety, Health & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to factory safety guidelines (use of protective gear/PPE, machinery safety around CNC and membrane press setups).
- Support basic statutory compliance, record maintenance, and workplace health and safety norms.
5. Training & Performance
- Coordinate basic safety and skill-enhancement training for machinery operators and floor workers.
- Track worker attendance, performance, and productivity metrics alongside floor supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of HR experience (preferably in a manufacturing, factory, or furniture industry setting).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of factory HR processes, attendance tracking, and shop-floor management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in local language(s) and English/Hindi.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, HR software/attendance tools).
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
