Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the IB MYP framework.
- Develop unit plans following the IB MYP requirements, including statements of inquiry, key concepts, and related concepts.
- Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
- Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
- Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
- Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
- Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
- Participate in professional development sessions, IB trainings, and collaborative planning meetings.
- Contribute to school events, academic activities, and enrichment programs.
Math Teacher Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in education with a specialization in mathematics.
- Certificate in IB Teachers Training is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Math Teacher.
- Prior experience teaching Mathematics in an IB MYP environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of the IB MYP framework, assessment criteria, and inquiry-based pedagogy.
- A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
