The Technical Manager will act as a key liaison between the project management team and on-site personnel, ensuring seamless coordination and communication. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all technical aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
Ensure compliance with all relevant construction codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and onsite teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
Develop and implement technical procedures and processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and materials to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
Lead, mentor, and train the technical team to enhance their skills and performance.
Utilize construction management software and technology to monitor project progress and document technical information.
Provide technical support and guidance during project audits and inspections.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory standards.
Proven experience in managing complex construction projects and technical teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze technical drawings and specifications critically.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects concurrently.
