We are looking for a passionate and dedicated TGT English Teacher to teach English Language and Literature to students of Classes VI–X. The ideal candidate should possess excellent English communication skills and be capable of creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that helps students develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and grammar skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature to students of Classes VI–X as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and classroom activities.
- Develop students' grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills.
- Conduct assessments, tests, examinations, and evaluate student performance.
- Maintain accurate academic records and progress reports.
- Encourage participation in debates, speeches, creative writing, and literary activities.
- Foster a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and development.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, training sessions, and other academic initiatives.
- Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and CBSE guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. qualification is preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience as a TGT English Teacher in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, literature, and language teaching methodologies.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
