Role Overview : We are seeking a skilled and proactive Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our powder coating plant in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production flow, maintain quality standards, and lead a team effectively to meet operational targets. This role requires technical understanding, leadership ability, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day plant operations to ensure efficient production
- Monitor and achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Lead, guide, and manage a team of operators and workers
- Ensure proper handling and coating of aluminum sections as per specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and coating requirements accurately
- Maintain quality control checks throughout the production process
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams for material availability
- Ensure accurate measurement conversions for aluminum sections
- Assist in production planning and scheduling activities
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce wastage
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Basic knowledge of aluminum section types and their applications
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of production planning and scheduling
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality control
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a powder coating or similar manufacturing facility
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Additional Requirements
- Ability to commute to the Ahmedabad work location
- Immediate joiners preferred
- Willingness to work in a full-time, on-site role
