Set up and operate radial drilling machines for drilling, boring, tapping, reaming, and countersinking operations.
Select appropriate drills, taps, reamers, and cutting tools as per job requirements.
Adjust spindle speed, feed rate, and machine settings based on material and tool type.
Clamp and align heavy workpieces securely on the machine table or fixtures.
Read and understand engineering drawings and job cards, mark reference points and hole locations accurately.
Measure hole diameter, depth, and alignment using vernier callipers, micrometres, depth gauges, and gauges.
Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, and quality inspectors.
