Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Risk Mitigation & Audits: Conduct regular, meticulous fire safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards.
- System Maintenance: Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers, hydrant systems, smoke detectors, alarms, and emergency exits.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop evacuation plans, conduct regular fire drills, and train all staff on emergency protocols.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain updated fire safety records.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate fire incidents, accidents, or near-misses and recommend corrective measures.
- Liaison: Coordinate with local fire departments for inspections and certifications.
- Signage & Access: Ensure proper placement of bilingual fire exit signs and clear emergency exits
