The Head of Section - Solutions Engineering is responsible for leading the solutions engineering function that translates business, customer, and subject matter expert needs into scalable platform implementations within Digital & Transformation. This includes leading configuration-first delivery across low-code, hybrid, and API-enabled platform environments while ensuring implementation quality, repeatability, and production readiness.
This role sits within the Digital & Transformation organization, helping to advance how DNV performs Due Diligence, Verification & Assurance, and Renewables Certification work across Energy Systems.
Working in close partnership with Product leadership, Data & AI Engineering, Application Engineering, and global digital teams, this role translates customer requirements into reliable, production-ready platform configurations. The Head of Section - Solution Engineering sets clear standards for implementation quality, stability, validation, and reusable configuration patterns across low-code and hybrid development environments.
This role leads a team focused on configuring the platform for customer-specific and business-specific use cases using existing platform capabilities wherever possible. When a requirement cannot be met through configuration, the role ensures it is clearly assessed, documented, and translated into a product or engineering backlog item for prioritization, including the business context, implementation impact, and recommended path forward.
The Head of Section - Solutions Engineering plays a key role in scaling repeatable implementation practices, improving delivery velocity through AI-assisted configuration methods, and strengthening knowledge transfer between implementation and engineering teams.
**This role is based at our DNV office in Chennai, India. Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process.**
