About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP implementation, upgrade, and Application Management Services (AMS) projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing enterprise SAP programs, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and timelines while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP project lifecycle including Planning, Blueprinting, Realization, Testing, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare.
- Manage SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, and AMS engagements, preferably involving SAP S/4HANA.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project milestones, KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues proactively, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional SAP functional and technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Drive governance, status reporting, steering committee meetings, and executive communications.
- Ensure compliance with SAP implementation methodologies such as SAP Activate, Agile, or Waterfall.
- Manage scope changes, project documentation, and change control processes.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align SAP solutions with organisational objectives.
- Mentor project teams and promote best practices in project management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 14+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Project Management.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing SAP implementation projects.
- Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementation, upgrade, or transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of SAP project lifecycle and implementation methodologies.
- Functional knowledge of SAP modules such as:
- SAP FI/CO
- SAP MM
- SAP SD
- SAP PP
- Other core SAP modules
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- Experience in project budgeting, resource planning, governance, and delivery management.
- Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP Certification
- PRINCE2 Certification
- SAP Certified Associate – SAP Activate Project Manager
- Agile/Scrum certifications (Preferred)
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Immediate joiner or available within 10 days.
- Currently based in Bangalore (Local candidates preferred).
- Strong experience working with enterprise clients.
- Ability to work in the 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shift.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: ₹647,688.68 - ₹4,500,000.00 per year
