The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Training Design and Delivery Leader, this role partners across the organization to drive a balanced, integrated learning strategy with equal focus on instructional design, technical training delivery through the LMS, learning analytics, and people leadership, ensuring end-to-end ownership from concept through execution, measurement, and continuous improvement. The role designs high-quality, engaging learning solutions, enables and delivers training at scale through enterprise learning platforms, uses data and analytics to improve outcomes, monitor execution, and evaluate effectiveness, and leads, coaches, and develops learning professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality results. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in learning design, confidence in learning technologies and analytics, and strong leadership capability to successfully connect strategy, delivery, performance, and team development. Lead end-to-end instructional design and content development, partnering with SMEs and stakeholders to create learner-centered, accessible, brand-aligned learning solutions such as e-learning, guided learning, job aids, reference materials, and multimedia assets.

Develop and optimize digital learning experiences and platforms using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and Digital Adoption Platforms (DAPs), while applying design standards, adult learning principles, and continuous improvement practices.

Own end-to-end technical training delivery and LMS execution, ensuring high-quality publication, configuration, maintenance, and delivery of learning content across enterprise platforms with a strong focus on accuracy, usability, compliance, accessibility, and learner experience.

Lead learning operations and execution excellence by managing scheduling, enrolments, instructor support, delivery logistics, timelines, and operational risks to ensure smooth and effective training delivery from launch through completion.

Lead learning analytics, reporting, and continuous improvement by tracking training data, using advanced Excel and Power BI to monitor execution, identify trends and risks, evaluate effectiveness and engagement, and translate insights into actions that improve learning design, delivery, adoption, and overall impact.

Serve as a trusted learning leader and advisor by translating complex business needs into clear learning strategies and execution plans, communicating priorities, progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, and ensuring learning initiatives deliver measurable business value while championing learner experience, accessibility, and inclusion.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

10+ years of overall professional experience, including a minimum of 8 years of significant experience as an Instructional Designer, Learning Technologist, or in a similar role with hands-on responsibility across design, delivery, and reporting, as well as demonstrated leadership experience guiding or managing others.

Proven ability to lead learning initiatives end to end, from strategy and design through delivery and reporting, along with strong practical expertise in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and advanced Excel skills for learning analytics, reporting, and data interpretation.

Advanced experience with Articulate 360 for content development, along with strong visual design and multimedia capabilities, including video production and editing.

Proven experience publishing and managing content in enterprise LMS platforms, such as Cornerstone Galaxy and/or SumTotal, along with hands-on experience with WalkMe or similar Digital Adoption Platform tools, including content creation and deployment, and experience supporting training operations, booking sessions, and tracking learner participation.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience with Power BI dashboard development and Power Apps or Power Automate for workflow optimization.

Proficiency in SharePoint site creation, learning hub management, and integrating learning data across platforms.

Demonstrated people leadership, coaching capability, and the ability to set direction, prioritize work, and drive consistent execution across multiple learning initiatives.

Brings balanced strength across instructional design, technical delivery, and learning analytics, with strong decision-making, problem-solving, and data-driven insight generation.

Builds effective stakeholder partnerships, communicates confidently at the executive level, and maintains high attention to detail, quality, ownership, and accountability for outcomes.
