Mandatory Experience
Applicants must have at least 2 years of professional experience working as a Visa Counsellor, Immigration Counsellor or Study Visa Counsellor with an immigration or overseas education consultancy.
Freshers and candidates with experience only in telecalling, banking, insurance, real estate, front desk or general sales will not be considered.
About the Role
Rajveer Chahal Education Consultants is hiring an experienced Senior Visa Counsellor for its Ludhiana branch.
The selected candidate will assess client profiles, recommend suitable visa options, explain eligibility and documentation requirements, conduct follow-ups and convert qualified enquiries into paid applications.
The candidate must be able to independently counsel clients for Canada and UK visa categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel clients for Canada study visas, spouse visas and visitor visas.
- Counsel students for UK study visas and overseas education options.
- Assess profiles based on education, employment, finances, travel history, family circumstances and previous immigration history.
- Explain visa eligibility, required documents, application stages and possible risks accurately.
- Convert qualified walk-in, telephone, WhatsApp and online enquiries into paid clients.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective clients.
- Identify missing, weak or inconsistent documents during the initial consultation.
- Coordinate with admission, documentation and filing teams.
- Maintain complete client notes, follow-up records and status updates in the CRM.
- Achieve monthly consultation, conversion and revenue targets.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent visa or immigration counselling experience.
- Experience working with an immigration or overseas education consultancy.
- Practical knowledge of Canada study, spouse and visitor visa counselling.
- Working knowledge of UK study visa counselling.
- Proven experience converting enquiries into paid applications.
- Ability to assess client profiles independently.
- Strong follow-up, negotiation and client-handling skills.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, MS Office, email and WhatsApp.
- Ability to work full-time from the Ludhiana office.
