A Health Insurance Sales Intern drives lead generation, educates prospective clients on policy features, and assists the sales team in closing deals. This role is ideal for building communication skills, understanding CRM software, and gaining hands-on experience in the fast-paced Insurtech and financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and connect with prospective individual and corporate clients through cold calling, networking, and digital platforms.
- Client Education: Explain various health insurance plans, coverage limits, and premium options to help clients select the best policy for their needs.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, collecting necessary documentation, and finalizing policy applications.
- Client Relationship Management: Address inbound inquiries, resolve basic customer doubts, and ensure proper follow-ups for policy renewals.
- Data Management: Maintain and update customer records, call logs, and feedback in the company's CRM/software.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages, with a confident, persuasive telephone manner.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Soft Skills: High motivation, ability to handle rejection, and a proactive, team-player attitude.
