Job Purpose:
To support the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of all Learning & Development initiatives in the hotel, ensuring employees are trained to meet brand standards, service excellence and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in coordination with HODs and identify skill and competency gaps.
- Prepare and implement the Annual Training Calendar based on hotel business requirements.
- Conduct New Joiner Induction & Orientation and ensure effective onboarding.
- Plan and conduct General, Functional, Behavioural and Soft Skills training.
- Coordinate Departmental Technical Training with departmental trainers.
- Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) and task-based training.
- Develop employees on guest service, communication, grooming, leadership and hospitality standards.
- Coordinate mandatory training such as Fire & Life Safety, Food Safety/Hygiene, POSH, First Aid and compliance-related training.
- Work closely with HODs to improve employee performance through coaching and development interventions.
- Coordinate Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs and support departmental trainers.
- Maintain the hotel's training records, attendance, evaluations and training database.
- Monitor and report training hours, participation, completion and effectiveness.
- Conduct Training Effectiveness Evaluation and obtain feedback from participants and managers.
- Prepare monthly L&D reports and MIS for HR/Director of L&D/General Manager.
- Maintain training materials, presentations, manuals and the L&D resource library.
- Coordinate external trainers, consultants and certification programs where required.
- Assist in managing the L&D budget and training-related expenses.
- Support employee engagement, career development, talent development and succession planning initiatives.
- Ensure hotel-wide learning initiatives are aligned with brand standards and guest satisfaction objectives.
- Coach and mentor team members to encourage a continuous learning culture.

Typical Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Typically 3–5 years of hotel/hospitality experience, with relevant L&D/training exposure; requirements vary by hotel brand.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of hotel operations and service standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR/L&D systems.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
