Job Summary
The Hospital Receptionist is responsible for managing the hospital's front desk and serving as the first point of contact for patients, attendants, visitors, and other stakeholders. The receptionist will provide courteous and professional assistance, manage patient registration and appointments, coordinate with hospital departments, handle telephone calls, and ensure smooth functioning of the reception area.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome attendants, visitors, and doctors in a polite and professional manner.
Provide accurate information regarding hospital services, departments, doctors, visiting hours, and facilities.
Assist patients with directions and guide them to the appropriate department or service.
Maintain visitor records and follow hospital security and access-control procedures.
Receive and appropriately distribute hospital correspondence, reports, and documents.
Maintain proper records, registers, and front-office documentation.
Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and professional.
Follow all hospital policies, procedures, safety standards, and infection-control guidelines.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or Hospital Administrator.
Required Qualifications
Minimum qualification: Graduate preferred.
Diploma or certification in Hospital Administration, Front Office Management, or a related field is an advantage.
Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, healthcare facility, hotel, or customer-service role is preferred.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office or hospital management software.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
