We are a growing online creative arts and dance academy looking for dedicated teaching assistants to support our expanding global student base. We provide interactive virtual classes to learners across multiple time zones. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about Bollywood dance and performing arts who wants to help guide students through structured online classes in a supportive virtual environment.
Role Overview
As a Dance Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with lead instructors to deliver interactive Bollywood dance classes in virtual formats. You will assist in demonstrating choreography, maintaining class rhythm, and building student confidence. Your primary goal is to ensure virtual sessions run smoothly while supporting students at their individual learning pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Support: Assist lead instructors in managing and conducting online Bollywood dance lessons.
- Routine Demonstration: Help students follow steps, timing, and choreography during live virtual classes by providing clear visual demonstrations.
- Student Engagement: Adjust your instructional support based on each student’s unique ability level and progress.
- Classroom Management: Encourage a cheerful, supportive, and highly positive virtual learning environment.
- Constructive Feedback: Provide simple, encouraging guidance to help students improve their technique and form.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the internal operations and academic teams to maintain exceptional class quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Expertise: Strong understanding and practical capability in various Bollywood dance styles.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching, assisting, or performing dance in a professional or academic setting.
- Audience Management: Highly comfortable and patient when interacting with a diverse virtual classroom.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in English to provide clear instructions.
- Technical Requirements: A reliable computer or laptop, a stable high-speed internet connection, and a clear audio/microphone setup suitable for remote work.
Work Schedule & Environment
- Schedule Flexibility: Flexible scheduling options available throughout the week based on operational needs.
- Workload: Average working hours are 4 to 5 hours per day based on batch allocation.
- Work Mode: 100% remote position.
