Job Summary
The Hospital Contact Centre Staff serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and other stakholders. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, appointment scheduling, patient inquiries, service coordination, and ensuring a positive patient experience through efficient and courteous communication.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Communication
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information regarding hospital services, departments, doctors, clinic schedules, and facilities.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback with empathy and professionalism.
- Route calls to appropriate departments when required.
Appointment Management
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
- Coordinate appointments with consultants, diagnostic services, and specialty clinics.
- Confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions to patients.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of calls, inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
- Update information in Hospital Information Systems (HIS), CRM, or contact centre software.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Preference for candidates with experience in healthcare, hospital administration, customer service, or contact centre opertaions.
- Fluency in English and local language(s).
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask effectively.
- Basic computer proficiencyand familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or CRM software is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays as per hospital requirements.
- May be required to support 24/7 contact centre operations.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
