We are looking for a Business Development & Brand Partnerships Manager to own our brand relationships end to end and to sit at the centre of how brands and our product team work together.
You will own the full cycle: find and qualify the right brands, run the pitch, design the sampling and review programme that fits their goals, close, onboard, and grow the account. Just as importantly, you will be the link between brands and our engineering team. You will turn what brands need into clear, prioritised input for product, and turn what we build into solutions brands can use. When a brand asks for something new, you are the person who can hold the commercial conversation and translate it into something the tech team can act on.
This is a high-ownership role with direct impact on the business and close, daily collaboration with both leadership and engineering.
What You'll Do
- Own a portfolio of brand relationships from first conversation through to renewal and growth
- Find, qualify, and pitch the right D2C beauty and wellness brands
- Design sampling and verified-review programmes tailored to each brand's goals and budget
- Build proposals and clear outcome plans, then negotiate and close
- Onboard brands and run them to a successful first campaign and beyond
- Act as the bridge between brands and our product and engineering team: translate brand needs into prioritised, well-scoped input, and product capabilities into brand-facing solutions
- Surface brand objections, patterns, and requests, and feed them into product direction
What We're Looking For
Must-haves
- Substantial experience in brand partnerships, business development, or account management across consumer, D2C, beauty, or a closely related space
- A track record of owning relationships end to end, including closing and growing accounts
- Comfort working with both commercial stakeholders (brand founders, marketing leads) and technical teams (product, engineering)
- The ability to translate between business needs and technical execution, and to write a clear, well-scoped brief
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and Hindi or Hinglish
- Self-direction and sound judgement in a fast-moving, remote environment
Strong pluses
- Experience at, or working closely with, growing D2C beauty, personal-care, or wellness brands
- Background in influencer or creator platforms, sampling or UGC, e-commerce enablement, or martech serving consumer brands
- A feel for product, and for what is and is not easy to build
