About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detailed-oriented Senior PHP Developer with 6+ years of experience to join our development team in Jaipur. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining backend systems using Laravel and modern PHP practices. You will lead module developments, write clean & testable code, integrate complex APIs, and mentor junior developers.
Key Responsibilities
* Backend Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure backend applications using Laravel framework and Object-Oriented PHP.
* RESTful API Development: Write and optimize custom RESTful APIs for mobile applications, web frontends, and third-party service integrations.
* Database Design & Optimization: Design complex MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, write optimized SQL queries, manage schema migrations, and implement caching strategies (Redis/Memcached).
* Code Quality & Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to PSR standards, enforce security practices (protecting against OWASP vulnerabilities), and maintain clean code repositories.
* System Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and high-concurrency server handling issues.
* Team Mentorship & Coordination: Lead sprint tasks, mentor junior PHP developers, and collaborate closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams.
* Deployment & Version Control: Manage version control using Git workflows (GitLab/GitHub) and oversee CI/CD pipeline deployments on cloud infrastructure (AWS/DigitalOcean).
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
* Experience: 6+ years of core software development experience in PHP, with at least 3+ years of intensive hands-on experience in Laravel framework.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications (B.Tech, BCA, MCA), or equivalent practical experience.
* Core Skills:
* Deep understanding of Laravel 8+ / 10+ ecosystem (Eloquent ORM, Middleware, Queues/Jobs, Service Providers, Events, Notifications).
* Solid grasp of OOP concepts, Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and MVC architecture.
* Advanced SQL knowledge (MySQL/PostgreSQL), indexing, and query optimization.
* Experience building and consuming RESTful & GraphQL APIs.
* Frontend Basics: Understanding of JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React.js, or Alpine.js) and AJAX/JSON integration.
* Tools & Environment: Proficient with Git, Docker, Postman, Linux CLI environment, and Composer.
Preferred Capabilities
* Hands-on experience with microservices architecture or serverless deployments.
* Familiarity with queue workers, payment gateway integrations (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal), and third-party Webhooks.
* Automated testing experience using PHPUnit or Pest.

* Code Delivery & Architecture: Delivering scalable, clean code on schedule with low bug rates in production.
* API & System Performance: Meeting high-speed API response times and efficient query execution targets.
* Leadership: Technical support provided to junior members and adherence to code review standards.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
