About the Role
Softobiz is hiring a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead delivery for a large supply chain management organization operating in the food industry. This is not a pure coordination role. We want someone who has grown up through quality assurance, moved into project/program management, understands how software is built and tested at a deep level, and can run multiple projects to predictable outcomes.
The ideal candidate can hold engineering teams to a high quality bar and speak credibly with engineers, QA, and business stakeholders alike.
What You’ll Do

Own delivery for multiple concurrent projects: scope, planning, execution, risk, and stakeholder communication.

Set and enforce the quality bar. Define test strategy, quality gates, and release criteria alongside QA and engineering leads.

Translate business and supply chain requirements into clear technical scope and realistic delivery plans.

Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and keep teams focused, unblocked, and accountable.

Track and report progress, risks, and dependencies to Softobiz and client stakeholders with clear, data-backed status.

Partner with QA to embed automation, shift-left testing, and defect-prevention practices into the delivery lifecycle.

Manage cross-team and cross-timezone coordination between the Softobiz team and client stakeholders.

Own delivery metrics: velocity, defect leakage, cycle time, release predictability, and drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring

8–12 years in software delivery, with a strong foundation in QA / test engineering before moving into project management.

Proven track record managing multiple projects or a program end-to-end in an offshore, or product engineering environment.

Deep understanding of QA practices: test strategy, automation frameworks, CI/CD quality gates, defect management.

Strong technical fluency: able to read architecture, understand technical trade-offs, and challenge estimates credibly (does not need to code daily).

Hands-on with Agile/Scrum and delivery tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).
