About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dependable finance professional who can independently conduct company and sector research, analyse financial information and prepare structured equity-research reports.
This is a long-term, work-from-home opportunity suited to professionals seeking meaningful research work with flexibility and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental research on listed companies and sectors.
- Analyse quarterly results, annual reports, financial statements, investor presentations and conference-call transcripts.
- Evaluate business models, financial performance, valuations, growth prospects and key risks.
- Research potential swing-trading and long-term investment opportunities.
- Prepare structured research reports, financial tables and presentation-ready content.
- Maintain Excel-based financial data, calculations and company trackers.
- Monitor corporate announcements, sector developments and management commentary.
- Use AI tools to improve research productivity while independently verifying all information.
- Maintain proper records of research sources, assumptions and calculations.
- Submit completed research within agreed timelines for review by the Head of Research.
Preferred Qualifications
Any one or more of the following:
- Chartered Accountant
- Company Secretary
- Cost and Management Accountant
- MBA Finance from Top B-schools
- CFA candidate or charterholder
- CA Inter, CS Professional or CMA candidates with strong research experience
- Other finance professionals with demonstrable equity-research expertise
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Practical knowledge of fundamental analysis and valuation.
- Ability to understand businesses and sectors beyond financial ratios.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong research, writing and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools and financial-research platforms.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Professional communication and timely work updates.
- Commitment to confidentiality and responsible handling of research information.
