Job Description – Head of Corporate Communications & BrandPosition Overview
The Head of Corporate Communications & Brand will be responsible for strengthening and managing the unified brand identity of the Patel Group across all businesses, platforms, and stakeholder touchpoints. The role will lead the Group’s internal and external communications, digital presence, reputation management, and strategic brand initiatives while ensuring consistency, credibility, and alignment with the Group’s vision and values.
Position Details
- Department: Group Business Excellence Department(GBED)
- Experience: 15–18 years
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably within a multi-brand or diversified organization
- Qualification: MBA in Marketing/Communications, BA/MA in Mass Communication, or equivalent qualification
- Preferred Certifications: Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Corporate Communications, or related certifications
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Management
- Develop, strengthen, and maintain a unified Patel Group brand identity across all group companies and business verticals.
- Establish and enforce brand guidelines covering visual identity, tone of voice, messaging, and communication standards.
- Ensure consistent brand positioning across internal and external stakeholder touchpoints.
- Drive initiatives to enhance brand visibility, recognition, and reputation.
2. Corporate Communications
- Develop and execute the Group’s internal and external communications strategy.
- Manage corporate messaging, leadership communication, employee communication, announcements, newsletters, presentations, and corporate publications.
- Develop communication frameworks for key organizational initiatives, milestones, and strategic priorities.
- Ensure communication is clear, consistent, timely, and aligned with management direction.
3. Digital & Social Media
- Oversee the Group’s digital ecosystem, including corporate websites, intranet, social media platforms, and digital communication channels.
- Develop strategies to improve digital visibility, engagement, and brand positioning.
- Monitor digital performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure digital content reflects the Group’s brand standards and business objectives.
4. Reputation & Crisis Communications
- Develop and maintain a structured crisis communication and reputation management framework.
- Lead communication during sensitive situations, reputational risks, and business-critical events.
- Coordinate with senior management and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate responses.
- Monitor media and public sentiment and proactively address potential reputation risks.
5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, develop, and mentor the Corporate Communications and Brand team.
- Establish clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans for team members.
- Collaborate closely with senior management, business heads, HR, marketing, and other functional teams.
- Manage external agencies, media partners, consultants, and communication vendors where required.
