Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Officer who can drive revenue by converting prospects into paying customers for our SaaS product. This role requires strong consultative selling—understanding business problems, demonstrating product value, and closing deals.
You are not just selling software. You are selling outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound leads (calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach)
- Identify and qualify prospects based on business needs and fit
- Conduct product demos and walkthroughs
- Understand client pain points and map them to product solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle: Prospecting → Demo → Negotiation → Closure
- Follow up consistently to move leads across the pipeline
- Maintain CRM hygiene and track deal progress
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams for feedback
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify and explain technical products to non-technical users
- Confidence in handling decision-makers (founders, managers, teams)
- Understanding of B2B sales cycle and buying behavior
- Target-driven mindset with ownership of revenue numbers
- Comfortable using CRM tools, email tools, and meeting platforms
Good to Have
- Prior experience in SaaS / B2B sales
- Experience in product demos or inside sales
- Basic understanding of business workflows (HR, Sales, Ops, etc.)
