An IT Support Executive / IT Administrator manages an organization's technology infrastructure and resolves user issues. They act as the primary point of contact for hardware/software troubleshooting, network maintenance, user onboarding, and system security to ensure uninterrupted daily operations and high workforce productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Helpdesk & User Support: Serve as the first/second line of IT support by addressing employee queries, managing a ticketing system, and resolving hardware and software issues.
- System Administration: Manage and configure company networks (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs), servers, and endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, printers).
- User Lifecycle Management: Handle account provisioning, Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID management, and equipment setup for employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Data Security & Backups: Enforce cybersecurity policies, manage antivirus/firewall protocols, and perform regular data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- IT Asset Management: Maintain an updated inventory of hardware, software licenses, and IT equipment.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external IT vendors, ISPs, and software providers for internet connectivity issues or escalated software/hardware repairs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, or an equivalent technical diploma.
- Experience: Typically 2-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows/macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Active Directory, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the capacity to explain technical solutions to non-technical staff.
- Certifications: Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Cisco CCNA are highly preferred by employers.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
