The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall operation, performance, safety, and profitability of the solvent extraction plant. The role involves planning, coordinating, and controlling all production, maintenance, quality, safety, environmental, and administrative activities to achieve production targets while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, and organizational objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Operations
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the solvent extraction plant.
- Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, yield, and cost.
- Optimize plant capacity utilization and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Monitor key process parameters to maximize yeild and minimize solvent losses.
- Ensure continuous and efficient operation of solvent extraction, desolventizing, distillation, and solvent recovery systems.
Production Planning
- Develop and implement production schedules based on raw material availability and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and dispatch teams for uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, solvents, chemicals, packaging materials, and finished products.
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve extraction efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and enhance productivity.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Analyze production data and implement corrective actions for process improvements.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
