Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Head of Accounting and Finance to independently manage the company’s accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, banking, and financial reporting functions. The candidate should have strong knowledge of import-export accounting, manufacturing industry practices, and team handling capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and filing of GST returns, including GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C.
- Strong understanding of Common Credit, ITC Blocked Credit, and GST compliance.
- Preparation of TDS workings, payments, and return filing.
- EPF, ESIC, and Professional Tax payment and return filing for employees and the company.
- Finalisation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Notes to Accounts.
- Handling audits for company and individual accounts.
- Preparation of Monthly Income Statements, MIS reports, and financial analysis.
- Filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals.
- Preparation of Board Resolutions and Minutes for company records.
- Coordination with banks and handling Buyer’s Credit, EPC Loans, and Working Capital Stock Statements.
- Managing import-export accounting, documentation, and related compliance.
- Leading and supervising the accounts team, ensuring the timely completion of tasks and compliance activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to independently handle end-to-end accounts functions.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance.
- Experience in manufacturing or the chemical industry is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
