About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics or a related field
- IB MYP and/or DP teaching experience is mandatory
- Strong understanding of IB curriculum and assessment criteria
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for MYP and DP students
- Design curriculum-aligned lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials
- Prepare students for IB internal and external assessments
- Foster inquiry-based learning and encourage student participation
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and school initiatives
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
