About Us
Velonex Chemicals is a growing chemical trading company supplying industrial, water treatment, and home hygiene chemicals across Tamil Nadu. We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Executive to manage billing operations, maintain accurate records, and support our day-to-day business activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and generate GST tax invoices, quotations, proforma invoices, delivery challans, and e-way bills.
- Process purchase and sales entries accurately in Tally Prime.
- Maintain customer and supplier accounts, ledgers, and billing records.
- Coordinate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely invoicing and dispatch.
- Prepare payment follow-ups and outstanding reports.
- Verify purchase invoices and maintain proper documentation.
- Handle filing and record management for invoices and statutory documents.
- Assist with monthly GST-related documentation and basic accounting tasks.
- Respond professionally to customer billing queries.
- Perform general office administration and data entry as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts, or office administration (Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply).
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Basic understanding of GST billing and accounting principles.
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a chemical trading, manufacturing, or industrial products company.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock documentation.
- Familiarity with e-way bill generation and transport documentation.
