Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems, preparing technical drawings, and supporting project execution while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems including air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems for various projects
- Perform load calculations (heat load, cooling load, etc.) using industry-standard methods
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar software
- Develop equipment selection and system layouts
- Review project specifications, BOQs, and tender documents
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and site engineers
- Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning
- Optimize system performance for energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as an HVAC Design Engineer (typically 2–5 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Experience with load calculation software (e.g., HAP, Carrier, or similar)
- Good understanding of MS Office tools
