Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator who will be the face and voice of the brand on camera. This is an in-house, hands-on creative role — you will conceptualise, shoot, and feature in reels, stories, and short-form videos that bring the brand to life across Instagram and other platforms. The ideal candidate has strong fashion sensibility, is naturally comfortable in front of the camera, and combines storytelling instinct with the ability to think spontaneously on shoot days. You will work closely with the Social Media Manager, stylists, and photographers to produce content that feels authentic, aesthetic, and unmistakably on-brand.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn-House Content Creation
- Conceptualise and create in-house content — reels, stories, posts, and short-form videos — that adhere to the brand's visual and tonal guidelines.
- Feature on-camera as the primary face for reels and content series, bringing energy, personality, and authenticity to every piece.
- Translate the content calendar and campaign briefs from the Social Media Manager into engaging, platform-ready creative.
Fashion Storytelling & Brand Aesthetic
- Drive Instagram fashion branding through consistent storytelling, mood, and visual style.
- Model in fashion shoots and collaborate with stylists, photographers, and partner / local brands to produce cohesive, high-quality visuals.
- Maintain a sharp eye for fashion trends, styling, and aesthetic detail to ensure every piece of content reflects the brand's positioning.
- Champion authenticity in every output — the brand should feel real, relatable, and aspirational at the same time.
On-Camera Performance & Spontaneity
- Deliver strong on-camera presentation across reels, talking-head videos, BTS, and event coverage.
- Think on the spot during shoots — adapt scripts, riff on hooks, and create unplanned moments that perform on social.
- Stay tuned in to trending audio, formats, and challenges, and turn them around quickly while staying on-brand.
Editing & Communication
- Handle basic video editing — cuts, transitions, captions, music sync — for quick-turnaround reels and stories.
- Contribute to communication strategy by suggesting hooks, captions, and content angles that resonate with the target audience.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and design team to ensure content ladders up to broader campaign objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong fashion sensibility — a clear point of view on style, trends, and aesthetics.
- Confident, expressive on-camera presence with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
- Prior experience modelling or featuring in fashion shoots, reels, or branded content.
- Working knowledge of Instagram and short-form video formats (reels, stories, trends, audio).
- Basic video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar.
- Spontaneity and on-the-spot thinking — comfortable improvising during shoots.
- Good communication skills with an instinct for hooks, captions, and conversational copy.
- Comfortable collaborating with photographers, stylists, and external partner brands.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Fashion, Mass Media, Communications, or a related field.
Good to Have
- An existing personal social media presence demonstrating content creation and on-camera work.
- Experience working with D2C fashion, lifestyle, or beauty brands.
- Basic photography skills and a working understanding of lighting and framing.
- Familiarity with content planning and trend-tracking tools.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Volume and consistency of in-house reels and content shipped per week / month.
- Engagement metrics — views, saves, shares, and watch-time on owned content.
- Follower and reach growth driven by on-camera content.
- Brand consistency — adherence to visual identity, tone, and content guidelines.
- Speed of trend turnaround from idea to publish.
