Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teacher to teach students in Grades 8 to 10 across the subjects of English, History, Civics, and Commercial Studies. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, encourage critical thinking, and support students’ academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum for Grades 8–10.
- Teach English, History, Civics, and Commercial Studies using interactive and student-centered methods.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress through tests, assignments, and examinations.
- Encourage analytical thinking, discussion, and real-world application of concepts.
- Maintain discipline and create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide additional academic support to students as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers, coordinators, and school leadership.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
- Integrate technology and modern teaching tools into classroom instruction.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant subjects (Economics, English, History, Commerce, or related fields).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the secondary level preferred.
- Strong command of English (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate adolescent learners.
- Must have ICSE Curriculum Experience
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
