Operate and monitor ETP systems, including collection tanks, neutralization units, aeration systems, clarifiers, filter presses, RO systems, MEE, ATFD, and associated utilities. Ensure effective treatment of effluents to achieve compliance with prescribed discharge norms and environmental regulations. Monitor key process parameters such as pH, COD, BOD, TDS, TSS, flow rate, dissolved oxygen, and chemical dosing. Coordinate with Production, Utilities, and EHS teams for the segregation, collection, and treatment of various effluent streams. Maintain daily operational logs, shift reports, checklists, and statutory records related to ETP operations. Conduct routine inspections of pumps, blowers, agitators, pipelines, dosing systems, and other ETP equipment. Coordinate preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and calibration activities with the Engineering team. Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of ETP sludge and hazardous waste in accordance with regulatory requirements. Monitor chemical consumption and maintain optimum inventory levels of treatment chemicals and consumables. Support environmental monitoring activities, including wastewater sampling and analysis. Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines, permit conditions, and emergency response procedures. Participate in internal audits, environmental audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections. Identify opportunities for process optimization, water conservation, waste minimization, and cost reduction.
